There is a slight possibility that Aquarius and Scorpio would find enough compatibility to endure a relationship--both might be eccentric enough to find a common bond together.
However, it is doubtful that Aquarius and Virgo would find enough compatibility to maintain a relationship because Aquarius is so rebellious and independent and Virgos are so stoic and reliable....don't think they would find any happiness together.
Keep in mind that we are looking at Sun signs only and not giving any consideration to the other planets and positions that must be compared to determine overall compatibility.

The answer to your question lies in how much Air/Aquarian influence the Scorpio or Virgo have got in their charts. If theie personality is of the Water/Air or Earth/Air type i.e. the personality has a predominance of both elements, then this could actually be a good pairing.
Alternatively, if the Aquarius has at least 2 Water/Scorpio influences in the personal planets, then the Scorpio-Aqu pairing could work well. Or if there are at least 2 Earth/Virgo influences in the personal planets, it could also work out with the Virgo person too.
