Do you believe in fortune-telling with playing cards??!

Question: For people who know the website www.cafeastrology.com, there's this fortune-telling with playing cards thing. And so far, it's been accurate for my family and I. Though is it dependable?? I think it is cuz you don't know which card you're dealing, and the outcome of the cards is even more unpredictable.

Actually, it's funny because yes I do. I haven't read that website, I learned the game from my mother, who has been doing it since I can remember. She shuffles and spreads the cards out and we pick three, and those three represent our luck (bad or good) for the rest of the year. At the beginning of 2007 I got a king of hearts (excellent luck in love), a 6 of diamonds (average in prosperity) and a 6 of shamrocks (average in money). All of this was true because I finally met a guy I fell in love with, (highlight of the year) and I prospered as far as money because I landed a good job. On January 1st this year, I picked cards again but received extremely bad news - the first card I picked was an ACE of spades, which means a major disappointment (bad luck), a 6 of shamrocks (money) and another card which I can't quite remember but was pretty average. On that very same night after drawing cards I found out my boyfriend (the one last year's cards had predicted would be my love) had been messing around with a girl and exactly a week later, we broke up. Huge disappointment. I believe the rest of my year will continue to be satisfying in money and whatever else I got, but to answer your question, yes I do. I just hope that was the ONLY major disappointment. Hope that helped. =]

BULL!!!

Don't believe in that stuff ESPECIALLY online.

it all comes down to your belief yes or no

I went to the "Bottom of the Cup" in the French Quarter in New Orleans to have my fortune told. I thought they were going to use Taro cards but the lady used playing cards. I have to say of all the times I've had my fortune told this was the least acurate, the least exciting, I wasn't happy.

I was taught to do the cards when I was young.Card readers who are good at it can tune in to the person they're reading for.Little things like body language that give away clues to the reader influence the reading as much as the cards that are drawn. After a while you get really slick at it.You even start to believe it yourself. Then you realise as everyone should that it isn't the prophecy coming true it's you finding something that fits in with what you were told and most things you are told will be pretty vague and wide ranging.I stopped doing it when I realised it was wrong.
Even a web based one will be deliberately vague.
