Can someone explain a part of the zodiac in astrology i cant seem to understand?!
Question: what im trying to understand is well you know how every sign has its own personality and how people act?? well how does that play a role in the genes of our parents....say...if my mom is a cancer and dad is a scorpio....then im born and im an aquarius how is it that from the personality of cancer and scorpio i end up having the personality of aquarius?? genes are random or what??? how does this add up??? can anyone explain???

embryos and what not holds no grounds on when exactly are you born, what is birth? when you come out of the world? what if i told you that you were destined to be born at that time, a fetus already has human instincts while its still in the womb.
having ultrasound a baby sucking his thumb.
science cant even explain how a very small organism as a sperm becomes a human being, and has all those characteristics.

Either or two of your parents must have strong air influence... or you might have most water or a dominant water planet (Pluto, moon, Neptune)...
I've been thingking about that actually...My parents are both Air signs... (Gemini and Aqua) and i ended up a Pisces... I used to think that two airs wud make a water (H20) which is what nature taught us...but what do i know?
but when i gave my birth chart a closer look, i read that i have two dominant air planets: Mercury and Uranus, which are the ruling planets of the sun signs of my parents... and with that, my sun sign fits with my father's dominant planets: Neptune, which is my sun sign's ruling planet, Mercury, and Saturn (I am a Capricorn dominant).... so do you get the connection...?it's kinda weird, really....but you have to research a lot...
And also my mother is a Virgo ASC and so am i.....
If you were to think of your Sun sign as your soul & your inner personality and potential
And your Moon sign as your heart is your emotional core
Then you could say that your Rising or Ascendant sign is your physical self or the face mask you present to the world.
It does not mater how much you try to work people out they will swap between their Sun sign & Rising mask to confuse you : )

The is no evidence that birth time has any effect on personality. Enviorment and parenting do. Astrology can and has been tested. It fails to do better than chance.
it has nothing to do with genes. but your parent's sign may be similar to yours, so that's where you get confused. for example, im an aries and my dad is a cancer. both of these signs are different, but they both have similar traits that are brought out in eachother. my boyfriend and i are opposite zodic signs, but that means we have a lot in common. it's really confusing, but you'll get the hang of it.
