hmm, I'm a gemini guy, and I like how sensual and touchy feely some cancers can be, because I love physical contact. Also cancers are nurturing and some can be nice, which I like alot.
Only thing that might get in the way, is that gemnis are hard to pin down, elusive, and are much more outgoing and social than cancers usually. Cancers are more of the homebody type, while geminis are more of the go out, and have fun/meet ppl type. Another thing, is the moodiness of cancers that would annoy me, and sometimes they are selfish, but all in all, I DO like cancers.
Cancer people are home loving and intelligent. They are witty and good conversationalists. They enjoy travel (but love coming home!) and having fun.
On the plus side, the compliments that Cancer would regularly give is an ego booster to Gemini. Gemini also likes the way Cancer responds to his sense of humor and fun. Passionate Cancer fulfills Gemini’s physical needs, and Gemini’s cheerfulness brightens Cancers disposition. That's it.
Cancer is sensitive at love and Gemini’s roving eye would wound Cancer. Cancer is moody and needs security and Gemini, with his sharp tongue, will not be tied down.

I like some of the answers given... but being a in a G/C relationship myself, all I can tell you is this... try to meet Gemini half way. Sometimes you'll want to run off screaming the other way with some of the wild things that Gemini suggests, but give it a shot. Oh, and just one more thing, if Gemini is in a bad mood, try not to be in that mood along with him, just console him and tell him everything's gonna be okay, and you'll see him come back to life!
I like cancers, and I also have my Venus in cancer, so I feel attracted by them. I know how cancer is, they are emotional and delicate people, who appreciate family and security, things that I also consider important. I have cancer friends and the only thing i don't like about them is that they make too much drama sometimes, when the truth is that they want to fix problems, i don't understand this part and I don't know how to act. But in general cancers are nice people.
being a down-to-earth person...very caring..and very sensitive on what the gemini wants ..
if gemini truly love cancer...and vice versa, any annoying behavior can be forgiven once both patched up their differences and ready to give up that kind of attitude.
The Geminis and the Cancers are good combination, although, the Geminis find it difficult to fulfill egos of the Cancers always.The Planet Jupiter rules the mind and attitude of Cancers.
