The houses are all different sizes as well, not all 30 degrees like the signs all the time, so the bigger the house the longer the transit is going to last. Venus moves a bit faster around the sun than the Earth does, as it's a bit closer, so a Venus transit will on average last a little less than a month, about three weeks through a sign, give or take a few days, but of course as I said before, the transit could be longer or shorter depending on the house being transited.
