In my birth chart, it says the 1st house is Taurus and Pisces is the 12th? Since Uranus is in Pisces, does that mean it is in my 4th or my 12th? The Ascendent starts the first house, and the houses are numbered around the wheel until the last house which is the 12th. You are a Sagittarius sun, but in your description here, you do not say in which house it is located. No, it does not mean that Sagittarius is in your 1st house. It could be in any of the houses. Uranus is in your 12th house. The 1st house has a lot to do with your childhood, your physical appearance and your personality. Check out the description for Taurus and see if a lot of those traits fit you to some degree. The 12th house is the house of secrets, self-undoing, societal institutions, the unfortunate aspect of life, etc.
