im a cancer. what the traits are is we like seem tougher than we really are but we tend to be sensitive, think to much, and also have abandonment issues. even if we havn't been, if it seems like it, we will go in our shell and just try to stay away from conflicts for a bit.
we're not two faced...we say what we mean, and if you confront us after you've hurt us or temporarily "abandoned" us...we can be a little defensive of ourselves. because we don't want you to do it again lol.
but yea in relashionships...no one should have any worries on us cheating...thats why scorpios and cancers are so great together because both are very faithful to each other.

When theyre happy and content, theyre fine, but watch when they crawl into their shell-they get nasty and two-faced!
i'm a cancer too, and yes when we get in an uncomfortable situation we just crawl in our shell...I dont know why that is...hahaha. But we do put off like we are tough when were softy. were honest too. but we 4give 2 easy. so people do take advantage of us sometimes. but were nobodys fool and if they do it to much we will completely let them go. yup, friendships or relationships. we r good n loyal 2 friends, family, and lovers, so we expect the same back. If u r good 2 us, u have a friend 4 life.

We are easily touched by sad things. We cry, a lot, when no one's looking. We're good parents. We love children. We are very loyal. We are a little conservative.

hiding their emotions for good reason
the sad ones are hiding there happiness inside there shells. The happy looking ones, are deep in their shells depressed (just a bit not a lot). Although, it can get bad; look at Hemingway (happy cancer that blew his head off).
our emotions get the better of us, but that does not mean we are not logical. The problem is, when our actions are based on emotions when we know our logic is yelling "NOOOOOOOOOOO." The ensuing mistake makes us more emo then before.
The cancer that made alot of mistakes in life will be one cold person (with a big gushy warm heart). Just try to hug them you'll be surprised at how good you'll feel. Funny when a cancer does not realize he/she is a good hugger (random people asking for hugs).
The cancer that had a emotionally stable life will be the warm cuddly guy/gal. That will be the opposite. Warm at the start and if you hurt them they will retreat into there shells and cry.
If you like a cancer or are one your self, then pay close attention to the face. Look no one understands the flashes of emotions that can cross the face of a crab in mere seconds. No matter how good they are at hiding them the face will give it away.
If you are interested in a Cancer just react to it. "hey you just smiled." Something small and low key, cancers take such things to heart.
You won't know it but it makes a huge difference if we know you are in the audience for the play that comes across our face.
