oh girl, that is silly! nonsense; big precise compatibility is dependent on whole birth charts, not sun signs. just by knowing you may get married ( i assumed from your question, or you may already be married), that already says your compatibility might be great!
sure, Sagittarius and Capricorn are not a compatible match, but who cares! astrology isnt meant to control your life. its simply guidance. and no rule of astrology says you cant be with one who has an incompatible sign to yours, it simply says that you will have to work harder on your relationship. and it never says it is impossible to make things work with your "incompatible" lover.
and, i have something great that i hope will encourage you: i have some friends who are this very match! He is a Sagittarius and she is a Capricorn (Latosha and Martin). They've been together for a year now, and they're complete sweethearts! They complement each other well i must say, theyre such a cute couple!

we cant generalize by reading general stuff written on the web....u might be compatible with the sag because u have its influence on your own birth chart.
as some other people have mentioned, it would depend GREATLY on your whole chart. the Sun sign alone is just 1 of the many many placements in our chart, theres a moon sign, rising sign, venus sign, mars sign etc.. this is where astrology fails in what they let people to believe.
