i don't think its typically the best match, but your asking and you said you have been dating for 8 years hummm... sounds like the typical Taurus thats not that interested of course unlike other signs Taurus will stay in a relationship he doesn't want because he hates change and doesn't like to cause any friction unless provoked, and Gemini can be selfish and probably sees this but doesn't care enough to do anything about it.
