Traits of a sign...?!
Question: I was thinking about the traits of a sign to realize if I believe whole heartedly in astrology. My sign is Aries and to an extent I believe in the traits I'm "supposed" to possess...however...I've also read up on every other sign. And I seem to possess characteristics of them all too.
I know I may be told that I need to consider my whole chart, but I know my whole chart. And I do NOT have every sign in my chart. however, I can still relate to all of them.
I'm an Aries so I have that possessive thing...but I am not as outgoing as some say I should be...nor am I really much of a self starter. I'm stubborn as a Taurus, chatty as a Gemini, home loving as a Cancer, picky as a Virgo, fairness seeking as a Libra, passionate as a Scorpio, tactless as a Sag, hard working as a Cap, deep thinking as an Aquarius and dreamy as a Pisces.
So in my conclusion...I think people are people. regardless of the binds that are put on us based on a time & date of birth. We are what we want to be!

Astrology likes to label, pigeon-hole and stereotype with no evidence to back it up. Also with so many exceptions to it own rules, why does it even bother to have rules?

sure everyone gets passionate, but scorpios are extra passionate, sure everyone can get picky, but virgos are extra picky, etc.

Your point is correct, partially that is. Actually, we possess all the characteristics of the twelve zodiacs...They're all present in our birth chart.. A sun in Pisces doesnt have to be a Pisces...and you cant say a moon in Gemini is actually a Gemini inside... The twelve zodiacs are arranged accordingly in a birthchart; however one sign can be more dominant from the other.. or hiding inside of you and waiting for a way to come out. It's only a matter of which sign you are most noticable with.
That's half of the truth... and the other is, yes, we can be with our own. We have the freedom to choose. Astrology is only there to guide us. You can be the person you really are... ^^
Even I feel the same. Each & every individual has some or the other characteristics of all 12 zodiac signs in some or the other way.
The only thing which each one of us should realise is that we should maintain a proper balance of all the characteristics which we possess in some or the other way.
