I have the same problem. Most of my friends misunderstand me. This has ofcourse led to alot of misunderstandings and fights.
But yea, there have been a few instances where a friend said something that hit a nerve and I would respond viciously sometimes.
It's this sort of turbulence that us Scorpios live with everyday, and we love it as well as hate it and feel it more deeply than any other sign.

Jealously..I do get jealous.. but not very often. And when I am I dont try to do anything.. I just live with it in peace. Everyone gets jealous, every sign at one point of their life.

Oh I know! Nobody undrestands the prospect of our peaceful ways. When someone is yelling at me, I don't yell back, I just act emotionless and ignore it. My friends are not Scorpios, and they are always getting into fights and getting detention from teachers. Scorpios are non trouble making people. I am glad that I am 1.

My sun is not in Scorpio but I have a lot of Scorpio in my chart. I think the answer is obvious, the reason Scorpios are misunderstood is because they don't want to be fully understood.
They like there privacy and don't go shouting out exactly how they feel. Some people don't know when to back of and give em some space. And when they keep pushing of course the Scorpio is gonna get a little pissed.
But the person doesn't understand why the Scorpio is suddenly angry at them and maybe that's where people are getting the whole vengeful idea from.

(I'm a Scorpio) i think Scorpios are misunderstood because Scorpio's have such extreme feelings and it feels as if we can trust no one so its hard to find friends. We seem to normally hide are feelings because we don't think anyone will be understand them. This is a poem i just thought up today i have no idea why I'm putting it here lol
I am drowning in a pool of misery and despair, I live in fantasy world but when i get snapped back to reality I see that the world is falling apart and i die some more.
I have a good friend who is a Scorpio. What kind of bugs me is that she wants other people to be open, but try to get something out of her is impossible. I never really know how she feels. Me being a Leo, I am pretty much going to let you know what's up. If you want me to tell you everything than don't be surprised if we get bored and move on with a person who holds all of their cards to their chest all of the time. There is a fine line between being mysterious and being down right cold. But, I love ya anyway. It's my forgiving nature.
My moon is in Scorpio so I find Scorpio's very easy to understand. It's not really a big mystery afterall.
