Define a Scorpio's loyalty and when he chooses to be faithful.?!
Question: I think they tend to be faithful when they are truly in love and fear the consequences of cheating. If there is no love, I have seen the lower ones selfishly use and abuse women. Then I have talked to more than one who lost the one woman they really love because they cheated! In fact, one of these Scorpio men blogs about her all these years later--but totally cheated on her!
I think it is too scary for some Scorpio men to give it all to one woman--it sets them up to be quite vulnerable and gives her an awful lot of power. I think you see this if he has been emotionally wounded in some way, and/or did not get good mothering. Then I see a few who have always been very loyal to their lady--but always they had healthy upbringings.
So far mine(a Sun, Moon, and Mercury Scorpio), who I *know* really loves me, has never been sexually faithful (but we have not always defined ourselves in an exclusive arrangement and many times have just called ourselves "friends")
Its like he feels as long as he loves me, this is just recreational sex with other women and it is on two completely different planes to him. Needless to say, I don't let myself get too emotionally close. He is very attractive and charming, the ladies just love him.
I went to an astrologer once about this, and he said, "but he is ALWAYS going to come back to YOU!" The funny thing is I am open to other men, and he can't stand that. As soon as another man gets close, he is right back at the door wanting to treat me like queen of his world again.
He said he wants to marry me and I pointed out the monogamy issue. He said: "There is a point in a man's life where he has to settle down and be faithful to one woman." Still, you can see that I don't exactly trust him. If he formally proposes, I will watch him a certain length of time before taking the actual plunge.
And btw--being pushy and whiny about other women has the opposite effect. The more freedom I give and less I care, the less he does it. And always, I am open to other men despite his double standard.
