Question: been dating a little over a month--he gives me a birthday card and calls me a "good friend"
But the card say's " we create tomorrows by what we dream today" and he hand wrote for me to always rememeber that.
I asked him about the friend thing, he said if things progress further.....

He needs to grow up! Regardless of his age, he seems immature emotionally. I can't believe he would even leave you with confusion. Virgos have that strange behavior when it comes to attraction. They claim the more shy he is, the more he likes you, but I'm sorry to say, that is a cheap excuse! He already knows you are attracted to him and he shouldn't lead you on emotionally. For him being a Virgo, I think he didn't over analyze what effect his words would have on you. He over analyzes the situation MORE than the emotions you might feel. (Virgos lack in this)
I personally think, when he wrote,
"...to always remember that"
-AND-
"if things progress further,"
because he is attracted to you, but at some point he isn't sure & is scared of getting hurt. He thinks women are strange, because he finds them complicated to communicate to & how we associate with love. He focuses on too many negatives of the possibilities of a relationship and the effort & work there has to be needed. He is worrying too much and needs to stop that! He must be careless on how this can effect you. What is his sign in venus & mars just out of curiosity, because it could have a reason to this behavior, but overall he sounds like a typical Virgo, in my opinion. Look up the negative aspect of a typical Virgo and every astrology source will say they demonstrate "hypochondria" (worrying too much on health) and I think he is worrying too much of the negativities of a relationship might bring. Reassure him, that you want more into the relationship- make him feel emotionally secure.

There is strong attraction between these 2 signs. I'm not surprise that Virgo reacts this way. Sincerity and commitment has to be 100% because, once a Virgo commits to you it's usually for life.

I have a Virgo brother and he is slow, cautious and picky. I know another Virgo and his most common phrase was "do you know what your problem is...?" I hope he is happy in his world of perfection. Do you need the mental aggravation of this guy? Really.
