Virgos!! why are you so mean?!
Question: this is a serious question. why are you so damn critical? why don't you make an effort and be nice to people? why? i don't have virgo anywhere in my chart and i'm trying to understand you guys better but i just can't.
and i'm a cap, i'm supposed to get along with you!! what's the deal??

Okay, I'm not a Virgo, but I have a lot of close Virgo friends and a Virgo sister, who's the greatest person in my life. They really don't mean to be cruel. In all honesty, they think they are helping you. Virgos love helping people and get such satisfaction in making someone's life easier. They don't mean to criticize to put you down. They are trying to help you make your life more organized and easier. After all, if it works for Virgo, why won't it work for you, too? But watch out! Virgos are sensitive. They are notorious perfectionists! They try so hard and work their hands to the bone to be picture perfect. So if you criticize Virgo and tell them their ways are -*gasp*- wrong and therefore imperfect, Virgo is gonna be upset! I know it's hard to take criticism from someone who can't take it themselves, but try to see where they're coming from. And stay calm and logically tell them that while their ways are great for their lives, it just doesn't seem to fit for yours. And sometimes, it's just better to humor Virgo. If Virgo wants to drive, let Virgo drive. It's better to have a content Virgo on your hands than a mean one. And remind Virgo that you're on their team. You don't want to compete or battle them. You want to befriend them. Once they realize you're someone trustworthy, they'll open up and be a lot nicer! Good luck!
That's their way of protecting themselves. But if you really get into their heart, you can do something about it. At moments they will be as mean as before, but if you press them a little you'll see another side that you didn't knew it existed.
And then is a little easier. But, thats just the way it is.

Virgos are cerebral - not passionate but thinkers. They will take any F*&king situation that they don't like and apply logic that suits them.. Cold mean jerks!

I perfer to think of myself as practical or logical. Of course practical tends to push emotional out the window. We tend to look at the cold hard truth. If you find one that can look at situations from different viewpoints their own it can start to look like emotion but don't be fooled. Some are so caught up in the big rat race that they will only see their side and what needs to get done to get where they want to go. Practical, cold, analytical, yeah I guess we can be pretty mean.
they're not mean, they just want the best of you because they are analysists and perfectionist. They look at every detail and if something gets wrong they can become furiuos. I know that because my mercury, venus and mars are all in virgo. Especially my mars being in virgo, i can get boiled over a small detail gone wrong. And sometimes they see and want the same thing in their friends and family if their expectation is too high.
I know a couple of Virgos who are very nice. But if they don't like someone, they don't like someone, that's it. They're not fake about it at all. Sometimes, they can be tactless yes, but I'm not sure it's malicious. Both tend to be a bit on the flaky side too.
Most virgos I know are sweetie pies. Oh pish posh about them being critical just take it with a grain of salt.
I'm a Capricorn and 2 of my children are Virgo. They arent mean that I've ever noticed. Maybe it's not so much their birth sign, but just the individual people. Give them another chance.
I am a Capricorn woman and I used to date a Virgo male. Even though we are suppose to compatible. I couldn't take him being moody. Yes he could be very mean, to the point he wanted not be bothered when he was in one of his moods. I found passion in a Pisces.
I believe that Virgos are mean and vengeful because they are insecure.
that's beacuse both virgo and caps have a critical eye for things. the former is on management and the latter on being practical.
I used to date a virgo man....Being in love with a Virgo man means living in a practical world, where there will no be fairytale dreams. If you are too sentimental, then better take a u-turn right now. You will have to wait a long time to get him involved in a relationship. Even when he does, don't expect him to sing romantic poems for you or stand under your window to serenade you. It is not that Virgo men do not know how to love; just their way of expressing it is different from others. They are extremely dedicated towards their family and friends.....they just don't like to show thier emotions and are afraid of what people will think of them so tryng to get them to open up to you will be difficult but with time you will just have to work at it with them........them being mean is their way of feeling in control and not letting you know that they really care......and they have no romance what so ever so you have to be the romantic one....they can be very straight forward......they just go through mean spurts when they feel they are losing control and will often make you feel like they don't care about you or anything else like it doesn't bother them when in reality it does they just don't and won't let it show..unless of course you say you've had enough. then thats where they try to justify thier behavior and have this way of making you feel sorry for them until eventually you give in ....But the good thing about virgos are they are very hard workers and are very motivated task workers....hope this helps......
Finally someone who asks the same question as me! Not for nothing, caps are just as bad. Maybe you don't realize it but caps are pretty damn critical, as well. I think those who have similiar qualities, maybe can sense it coming.
I've found it really amusing to read the responses to this question - these people that disagree, those that agree but try to justify it - and those who both disagree and justify it.
The truth is, Virgos are mean because they can get away with it, and they enjoy it. Virgos are almost always indispensible in many regards - they work hard and for the most part are able to do things that other people can't be bothered to learn. After doing so, they can treat you however they like, and will do so.
Virgos are not insecure - they aren't hiding anything - yes, they're defensive, they build walls. Feel free to break those walls down, but all you're going to find is, quite simply, more meanness. They're petty, hateful people - but they're extremely intelligent, and exceedingly manipulative, which is where the myth of insecurity and vulnerability comes from. If you corner a Virgo and they can't control you in their usual manner, they're going to lie and try to control you in another way - by invoking your sympathy. This is reality - and for as much as Virgos like to pretend they live in reality, they don't. They live in a fantasy where they are the Supreme Dictator of all they see (sometimes they don't live it out directly and like to pull the 'humble' act, but they aren't humble, I assure you - insult their work at some point, and watch how quickly that melts away).
So, in conclusion, Virgos are tiny-hearted, arrogant, and hateful.

It's not that they're mean- it's b/c they analyze a person then criticize them- in their mind- for your own good.

They (men/boys of this sign) only do it cos they care and want you to be the best you can be so therefore tell you where you are lacking- to improve yourself ....
