Year later he gets a gf in the same town who he wants me to meet. Soon he starts ignoring my phone calls etc and we no longer talk. When I tried to be friendly he told someone else I annoyed him. His gf does get easily jealous. He told someone else he started to find me annoying. When I confronted him he got upset and said he never said that and why i would believe my bf over him. He later really late at night told me the only reasons omeone would say something mean about me is because their jealous and my bf doesn't deserve me

He doesn't sound shy to me. Just confused with how things are going and unable to get control over it... That's the first impression I got after reading it. Either way, regardless of where mercury is, it is hard enough for a Gemini moon to tell someone about their feelings for them and the easiest thing to do often seems just to break off all contact with that person and focus all your attention on someone who you know you don't love but who keeps you occupied, at least.
I've done it before. In fact I'm doing it right now. (I'm a gemini moon - to make it worse, in 7th house; can't live with, can't live without)
In addition, gemini moons tend to approach their emotions rationally.
Then to his mercury (because, in such a situation it's always emotions and conversation, isn't it?) in Aries. He should be generally very direct and honest in his conversations. So I'm sure that whatever he has said to you, is true. He's no reason to lie to get you in the sack, because he has a girlfriend who he can get in the sack anytime he wants if that's what he's after...
