I'm a Cancer and my boyfriend is a Leo and it's definitely true what the others are saying. Leo's are very stubborn and don't like to express their feelings. Feelings are a Cancers motto. Cancers can be maternal in some ways, I am the one who takes care of things and makes things run. I don't like to be around alot of people because I'm shy my boyfriend doesn't mind it he is very outgoing. He is what makes me in a scenes come out of my shell. I don't believe that Cancers & Leos are exactly a good match however I believe it can work. We just have to work really hard at it and be understanding to each other ways. We have to always remember that we love each other and were not gonna let some silly little stars tell us that we cant be together.

I am a Leo lady with a Cancer boyfriend, and the potential pitfalls others have mentioned are definitely there. As you know, a Leo is a fire sign and Cancer is water--Cancer may tend to quelch Leo's romantic passion and enthusiasm for life because Cancerians just do not come out of their shells, no matter how much encouragement or threatening is given. Also, Cancers tend to prioritize family, which will be a threat to the Leo, who must always come first in his/her partner's life. I get jealous sometimes because he always insists that we spend time with his family when I'd really just love to socialize with mutual friends or enjoy alone time together.
Your social lifestyles will also be very different. As a Leo, I like to go out often, but my bf never does. We are just complete opposites in every way. Though diversity is refreshing, it definitely puts quite a strain on the relationship. Unfortunately, both signs are clingy, so it's hard for either side to let go.
