As a fully aspected virgo I think I can answer this!
Virgos tend to get a long with sag's, capricorns, taureans, and some aries. But all signs usually make us crazy in some way!
Virgos can't usually tolerate unreliable people, so stay way from air signs. We tend to think that Aquarians and gemini's are nuts, so stay away from them. Libras we can usually get along with becuase they're smart and sometimes organised, but I have never been attracted to a libra as a partner, nor have I had one as a long-term friend.
We have an attachment to pisces people whom we feel don't care about us. For some reason we also chase after this pisces person, even though we know it's not going to work.
Taureans are not so much for partners, but excellent friends. Scorpios make good friends as well. Capricorns are sometimes frustrating, but they're dear sweets whom we love dearly. Cancers are also excellent friends, but we don't want to get caught up in their drama. Aries people... you need to make sure you and your aries are really FRIENDS first and foremost, and that you can have fun together. Then you can do anything. I love my aries friends. I had one aries partner whom I terribly wronged, but that had amazing potential if I had not taken that course of action. Saggitarians... I have them as friends, but not commonly as love interests. Leo's are lovely people whom we idolise.
For virgo, remember that you appear capable and strong and that's what you convince yourself to beleive, but you're softhearted by nature. So look for someone who is able to see that about you and appriciate it, and who isn't put off by your bristly exterior.

With Capricorn, both signs are concerned with how others see them and neither one is inclined to show the outside world their true selves. The “old couple” ? Far from the truth.
These two signs can have a remarkably calm, tender and fulfilling relationship together and, great for friendships and business partnerships.
With Taurus, they'll both recognize, respect and appreciate their similarities.
While Taurus will appreciate the Virgos tendency to fuss over them and to go the extra bit to show how much they care.
Problems are most likely to arise when the Virgos tendency to knit pick and second guess things makes the Taurus feel like they are being questioned of their judgment and abilities. The Taurus famous stubbornness can set in and communication can break down.
Most of the answers I agree with so far but as a open minded, laid back Taureanne I can't put up with constant criticising especially over small medicocre details that in the end don't matter. We Taureans are known for being somewhat intolerable. that's just one trait that I absolutely loathe about certain people. I look at the bigger picture. I don't get caught up in small details because I have a life...I have bigger and better things to do...then to critique someone. Virgos are annoying. but I have a sister and grandpa who are Virgos and I love them dearly. You can't live with them and you can't live without them.
