bet this girl must be very pretty (most gemini/cancer cuspians tend to be). though, i know looks arent the issue here.
im afraid you might need to look into some of the possible gemini traits that this cancer girl could have as im not sure whether you, as a scorpio sun can stomach a gemini. i strongly suggest you take a look into her birthchart, perhaps, there's something in your chart that compensates/ suits with hers. sun sign alone is not enough.
like me, im a cancer, i think, based on my birthchart, the only astrological explanation why im attracted to the ever flakey- fleeting geminis and act like them sometimes is because my venus is in gemini (not to mention its trine with mars, saturn and pluto, lol). but concerning for a deeper, serious relationship with a gemini male is, by far, a hopeless case! been there. done that. care for more? probly never again. lol.
another thing is, i dont think age is a problem if its close ranged like 1-5 yrs, its still ok, as the age gap wont really be felt between the both of you, especially when you get older, say you'd be 30 and she'd be 35. people wont really make a huge deal out of it when you're about that age, compared when younger, a one yr age difference seems to be soo dang obvious.
