There's a difference between a "horoscope' and a "reading". A horoscope is something very general that applies to 1/12th of the entire population. Clearly it's not going to be very specific.
A "reading" on the other hand, usually done by a professional, is something very specific which is done uniquely for you.
If a professional psychic or an astrologer who is doing your chart tells you that, then that's something to be concerned about. But a horoscope in a newspaper is just for fun.
Also, there are readings you can do for yourself (for free). There are lots of free sites that let you give yourself a reading -- which you might want to try if you're concerned about this. There's an excellent one at http://www.ifate.com
