Take it as a karmic blessing! There are millions of people who believe and plenty who don't. But be thankful, soulmates come in tons of different ways from lovers, to children, to total strangers, it is just someone who you have an unexplainable connection with. It goes beyond best friend, greatest lover, or favorite relative. Enjoy!

I believe we all have many soulmates during a lifetime. Not just one. Because we connect with different people on different levels. Lovers on one, family on another, friends on another. In each category we can find a soulmate. But I am happy for you that you found one for b/f level.
I used to be the biggest disbeliever in that soul mate crap until it happened to me about a month ago. The funny thing about this whole deal for me is that I use to always skip the "love / compatibility" part of my horoscope. One week after this most beautiful woman came into my life, I found a horoscope dated the day before I met her telling me about this incident. I've always believed in astrology from the day I started but this made me even more of a believer.
Give it a year and then see if you still believe in soulmates.

The term soul mates is very often misused. I believe that a soul mate is a person or people who help you to best understand yourself and help you to evolve as a person. Most people think it's someone who's "just like" them but really no one will annoy you more than someone who is just like you after you get over the first flush of infatuation.

I asked the angles to send me mine and they did a week later.
He even touch the side of my face (I asked the angles to give me a sign so I knew he was the one they were sending me, and that was what I asked them to get him to do... freaky)
We split after 4 yrs together as he wan't sure he wanted to be in a relationship. We had heaps in common & it just felt so right & as you said almost scary. I had never felt like this before. I have realised I did not specify what i really wanted in soulmate, you need to be very specific. We are still really good friends & I think will be for a long time to come.
