Why some people don't believe in astrology?!
Question: they don't like to think about this, just don't want to believe in this, or maybe ignorance?

I personally think they're just displeased with their sign or those kind of people don't have any sort of imagination...just reality and the facts of LIFE today, and instead of believing something that's beyond us....Oh baby there is a lot of mysterious things that us humans haven't even discovered yet.
But the good thing about it is that ASTROLOGY is true whether people want to believe it or not....I strangely still find it hard to believe that we are on a planet called EARTH..AND THERE IS A BIG *** GALAXY OUT THERE..who knows!
because they don't know enough about it, have gotten false information from bad sources or they aren't willing to even give it a chance.
It is not a science, it is not accurate. I am a Sagittarius and what it said about them i am not, that alone tells me I would need to be ignorant to believe in it
Pop Astrology. People think that's the be all and end all of astrology, and because people can't possibly be 1 out of only 12 personalities, that kind of tackles astrology as a whole.
It pretty much puts them off learning about astrology as a whole.
There's also the factor of what exactly is astrology? No one knows how it works, and that puts a lot of people off in this day and age - they simply don't trust it. Also a few misconceptions surrounding astrology.
The same reason why some people are religious and some are not. Everybody is different and thats the beautiful part about life.
A lot of people are misguided about astrology. Astrology is a very complicated process. Its not "just" the month you were born on. Theres certain days, weeks, and times that determine your astrology aka the infamous natal chart.
Blindly believing anything is against my nature. When ever possible I'd rather know and the number one problem is lack of evidence. Where is it?
The burden of proof is on those that make the claim astrology is valid. This means any evidence that can pass REPEATED testing. If true, belief does not matter. No one here, despite of years (and decades) of study can say that that they are even remotely close to providing proof. If they could, they can reserve a ticket to Sweden, a Nobel Prize is a cinch. It would be that important of a discovery.
But that means explanations on how it works. What are exactly the forces that come from the planets? How can these be detected and measured? Why don't they weaken with distance or get canceled out by moon, sun or earth? Flaws abound but answers do not.
Other the science part, a big problem is that astrology is a bigoted concept. It excels in stereotyping and pigeon-holing based on date of birth. This is irrational and akin to racism. Once again, there is no data evidence to back this up.
Using terms like closed minded or ignorance on people is insulting when the experts can't answer the logical problems. Like I said before, blind belief does not make truth. Humans are pattern seeking creatures. That makes us inquisitive but also gullible. But now we live in an age of science and reason. For good or bad science does deliver. Superstion and magical thinking like astrology don't.
