It's all a bunch of BS. Something in each of the signs represents a person in one way or another.

well...sound like you all should get along find...you and your son might clash a few times but nothhing but love there.....

Did you know that astrology was a science at one time. It has a great deal to do with numerology. The distance beween the planets and the rotation around the sun and the spin on their axis. It all worked out perfectly based on a base of 12. But it was only based on the visible planets, which was only up to Saturn. When you plug the other planets into the system it fails. So if the very basis of astrology is flawed than astrology itself must be imperfect. I never found it to be any more accurate than chance. For entertainment value only.

One must not look at the signs in a direct manner. The stars influence each person differently. Through obvious observations it can be noted that EVERYONE who is a Leo is EXACTLY or even REMOTELY the same. On that note, some people are remotely the same, but that is another topic. In order to understand ones' stars, you must view it from the perspective of ones' personal horoscope; not a general one. There are many, many stars in our universe, each of which have a different effect on how one acts in the mortal world.

For years scientists have been studying how the stars have an internal effect on us, although the findings are very resentful to many people being that there is no materialistic proof to vouch for these findings. That being said, you should not "stereotype" one by their sign, as everyone is effected by the stars directly. In other words, astrological signs only show you what kind of person someone is in a VERY vague point of view.

"astrology sign" = sun sign.

Sun sign = only 10% of a complete astrological birth chart.

Moon, mercury, venus, mars = about 30%.

Jupiter, saturn, uranus, neptune = another 20%

Ceres (+asteroids), Pluto (+KBO's) = another 10%

Ascendant = yet another 10%

Houses + signs = 20%.

(Percentage is only for aesthetic reasons. Do not represent the real percentage of importance)

Just to show you roughly how many other objects are involved. They can be in completely different signs and houses altogether, so they vary with each person. That's why no 2 leo's are generally the same.

It's a combination of sun signs, moon signs, and rising signs.

it depends on birth chart placements and such and such, but i fit mine to a tee, which is scorpio and ive only known two other people that fit my sign even better than me! of course they were also scorpios. and i have recently met a bunch of other people that share my sign but they just dont live up to all the hype. so yeah, i believe that horoscopes only describe the true inhabitants of that sign.

Only if you choose to blindly accept the stereotypes that astrology falsely makes. Nobody has control of the date the are born. Enviorment, upbringing, education, and other factors are what is important. You and husband will most likely be your son's biggest infuence. Not a ancient, made up, and unproven superstitions.

Astrology really is a bigoted concept and believers don't seem to mind it.

It labels, stereotypes, and pigeon-holes people solely based on birth-date. This has no scientific evidence and it is totally unproven. Most people reject other forms of bigotry, but gladly accept astrology's without thought.

I sometimes wonder about this....

I thought this one guy was Saggitarius, he's attractive, physically fit (is at the gym everyday), says things without thinking (but in an innocent way, like he didn't know...kinda cute actually lol), women are always checking him out or flirting with him (haha) etc etc.... but then come to find out he was born in Feb. A Pisces I'm assuming.

It's weird... I thought I knew about characteristics of certain signs but maybe there's another sign that's stronger...that's why they seem like their not their sun sign. Or maybe I need to learn more about Astrology characteristics. lol. Anyways, that's just a thought. =)

People of a certain sign share similarities but they're not the same. Their birth chart might have more of an affect in their personality.
