you can goto http://www.astro.com and get a free report. you need the place of birth (city) and the local time of birth and date of birth. it'll tell you certain features about yourself. it's pretty accurate too.
Your sun sign is the sign that you already know. May 1st makes you a Taurus. That's your sun sign. Your moon sign and rising sign are determined by what time and place you were born. Use a free astrology chart website, like the gentleman above suggested, and find those out.
might consider the possibility that it is not real- read some skeptic articles or better yet, got the the library and get "The Demon-Haunted World" by Carl sagan- the best book on astrology ever written. I used to believe in astrology until I read this book... Keep an open mind!

Don't allow astrology to be used to prejudice a relationship either way. Astrology is suppose to be used to help make thing happen better, not limit you to only certain choices. I am not a traditional astrologer. But astrology is best used as a spiritual tuning device, like nature, its cycles are ideal for tuning oneself into nature on the biggest scale. Science does not do well evaluating something, whose affect is purely spiritual. Science will never have instruments fine enough to detect spiritual forces. Science, has not learned that everything has its limits, even their field of study.
