Question: Do fallen positions disqualify the usual compatability "rules"? For instance, as a Scorpio moon is in a fallen position, does this make Scorpio moons not compatible with Scorpio suns? (I've have seen more than a few Scorpio moons on here that are not harmoneous with Scorpio suns).
I have Virgo in Venus (also fallen), and I've noticed that if a Virgo "sees black", I "see white".

interesting idea--I have venus in aries (detriment) and didn't ever seem to connect romantically with aries women (nor its opposite, libra). I also knew a marriage between a scorpio sun/moon woman (aquarius rising) and a scorpio moon man (aquarius sun)--it lasted eleven years, but broke up in the most radioactive, horrible meltdown imaginable; twelve years afterwards they still hated each other beyond the furthest reaches of the furthest black hole in the furthest galaxy. I think you're on to something.
Planets in signs in 'fallen' or 'detrment' positions are unable to reconcile the energies exerted by that particualr sign. Hence, the native is unlikely to be able to express those energies well, unless he/she has some other more posiitve influence in the chart to mitigate this negativity.
Venus is the planet of Love, harmony and social relations but Virgo is a puritan and critical sign. The energies exrted by these two don't work well at all. Venus is unable to feel attractive, seductive and at her best in a sign like Virgo. Hence, you may still be attracted to Virgo men but unless your Moon/Sun placements are in a more harmonious aspect to Venus in Virgo, you will experience the 'push-pull' factor of being attreacted to yet repelled at the same time.
The people with a certain moon placement who are incompatible with another of the Sun placement in the same sign probably has a vastly different Sun or Ascendent sign. Also, if the man has the same Moon sign as the female Sun sign, this is likely to cause the female to be a little 'bossy' as the sun represents the masculine energies. It is better that the Man has the Sun sign that is the same as the Female Moon sign. This will result in the natural laws of attraction.
