I can say honestly that once a Leo has set her mind on something, you need to be REALLY persuasive to change her mind.
It usually depends on the person themselves if they want to keep a secret or not. I`m one of the types who talk when I know I have something tasty for me at the end. =))
For the "I know what`s best for you." part, I think it usually is a state of a Leo`s usual stubborness. But it also means that a Leo just wants to take matters into her own hands. ^^
Most lionesses are very trustworthy. They provide for their pride and the male lion.

I don't know if trusting them is the right thing. Most of the Leos that I know are all about themselves. They think that their choices are the best and only choices. The seem to only relate what is happening to them without real consideration for you and/or your situation. Remember that this sign is 'king of the jungle' and that is how their run their lives and everyone around them. If you disagree, you are discarded or shoved aside.
Leos are a fixed fire sign , meaning that they are really, really stubborn and will hardly change their views on something once they've decided on it. The good news is that since they're so obstinate, they are more trustworhy than the other Fire signs - Aries & Sagittarius - Fixed signs are opinionated and this is no different with the female Leo.
So if you think their opinions are warranted and can be trusted, go with your instincts. They generally mean well and are very devoted and generous people, but they can be too rigid sometimes and this does put others off.
did it ever occur to you that a person's behavior has absolutely NOTHING to do with what sign she was born under? My boyfriend is a LEO and claims every stupid, selfish or boorish thing he does is because he is a leo. I have known and dated other men who were Leo's and they did not do the same things, nor did they blame their stupidity on an astrological sign.
I think if you are trying to pin behavior on an astrological sign you need to get a life.
NO!!!!! They are mean. They steal your eyes when you are sleeping. My mother, is a Leo. I know others also and they are mean.
You can definitely trust a Leo woman from an astrological point of view. Now the way the person was raised could make them untrustworthy Leo on not. But I have known 4 or 5 Leo Women and they are really good to GOOD friends. If you are fake then they will handle you with a long handle spoon. But if you are descent you will hard to find a better friend. They really take friendship more seriously than any other sign period. They are possessive and some what mean but they will not stab you in the back or tell your secrets to anyone. I'm sure your question was more about trust than personality right? They do have personality faults like everyone else. But there pride will not allow them to do dirty stuff to you behind your back. A no good Leo might flirt with your man though.
