Leo parent and Sag child a good combo?!
Question: My mom's a Leo and I a sag...When growing up---I think we had the best relationship ever. I thought she was (still is) the best mom. She read me stories, took me outside a lot to play, entertained my MANY questions, and believed in telling me the truth (even about Santa, the only one I didn't ask about was the tooth fairy...I think a little part of me still believes..LOL)
Well now that I'm an adult. It seems she has become quite territorial. She gets mad If I don't call her every day. I come to visit every 4 months and she counters that and says that I barely come visit. I think that's a lot. And when I home, she doesn't think I should go anywhere but sit on the couch.
I love talking to her but that drives me crazy. I sit on the couch saying "omg, I have to get out of here". Often when I do stay confined, I get horribly sick (it's weird b/c I'll be perfectly healthy before I come)
What do you think about the Leo parent/Sag Combo???

Oh My! Jane D, I'm Sag and my mom's a Leo too!! We get along well and I love her to death!
However, my mom is nothing like your mom. She doesn't get mad at me easily unless I do something wrong. She understands me and never ever questions me.
She lives in my hometown which quite far away from where I live now. There was a time when she was really insecure. She’d like call me almost everyday telling me how bored she was and she got mad easily which almost drove me nuts as well.
Actually, that time, she was suffered from depression and sadly, as her daughter, I knew nothing about it. When I found out about it, I was truly upset. It broke my heart and I felt like I was such a lousy daughter.
Since then, I started to pay lots of attention to her. Shower her with love and care. I called her just to tell her how much I missed her and stuff.
Not long after she was recovering, my sis in-law gave birth to a beautiful son. My mom was so happy to be a grandma! She loved my nephew so much. She started to get so busy everyday fully taking care of my nephew. She enjoyed it and loved it!
Years gone by, she's fine now and is back!
So, I think maybe something is bothering your mom right now or maybe she's feeling a little low. Ask her and try to understand her. Don’t argue with her. Now you're grown up, it's time for you to take initiative to show your love to her. Show her that you care!

A Leo and Sagittarius combination is good with any kind of relationship (parents, friends, relationships, etc). That is in fact your best match. But being that you are a freedom loving sign, your mom is a Leo and they have to have attention from their loved ones or they feel neglected. No, once every four months probably isn't enough for your mom, I'm sure she gets that you love her, but that's just a Leo's personality. We are clingy to our loved ones and want their adoration and attention as much as possible (I am a Leo myself). That's just how we express our love and that's just what we expect in return. But the combination is ideal, I'm sure you guys can conversate freely and have a very close relationship.
Try a surprise visit one day, Leos love surprises, that would make her feel special. ;]
Leo and Sag are a great mix! You understand each other as you have said from your experience growing up. Leo parents however, sometimes can be too controlling and demanding which conflicts sharply with the Sag need to rome and be free. They may even try to make their children be just like them. Now that you have grown up and as a Sag really hate to be tied down in any way, Leo can feel neglected and in need of an ego boost. Leos like to be the centre of attention.
I don't know, but maybe suggest doing something with her when you spend time. After an active day, maybe sitting on the couch and chatting won't seem so stifling. It's difficult to figure out parent-child relationships as you move into adulthood, but having a compatible mix of Leo and Sag will help heaps! Good Luck!
Speaking as a Sag offspring of two leo parents, I can say it wasn't neccessarily the best situation that I could have found myself in.
And it's the "territorial" things that does it, too, you're absolutely right on that.
Leo wants to dominate, rule and ultimately possess their children. We are "THEIR" creations to them, not our own seperate entities. The fact that we might have wills of our own really doesn't factor into the equation for leo parents most of the time. I sometimes felt kind of like property to them, rather than a child, especially where my mother was concerned.
Leo and Sag: perfect combination. But you better read on and research on the word "MENOPAUSE". Don't forget that. You don't know how we suffer from that. I never realized that, not, until I am now in that situation.
