Which signs are each of the planets in right now?!

Question: I prefer to get my current astrological weather from astrolabe:

http://www.alabe.com

Scroll down, it offers the option of entering the town/location of your choice for the results.

When I want to know where to look to see the planets, luminaries and stars when I walk outside and look up to the sky, I go here:

http://www.fourmilab.ch/cgi-bin/Yourhori...

That's set for *my* preferences which means you're seeing the map of the sky in Chapel Hill, NC, looking due south with a 90 degree field of vision. I also limited it to show only stars with a magnitude of 3 or greater, and it only gives the names of stars with a magnitude of 2 or greater. Further, I blocked the outlines of the constellations, but kept the borders, and I prefer zero terrain at the horizon, altho' I used to use it. The giant pigs always made me smile.

You can scroll down and enter the longitude/latitude of your choice and essentially set a myriad of options to your own specifications.

It may not have the sexy sheen of some of the other skychart pages (like those at http://skyandtelescope.com/observing/sky... ), but it loads quickly and easily on dial-up as well as broadband, and offers more adjustment variables than any other site I've found.

I offer astrology and astronomy sites because while they are related, they are different...

Also the constellations given at fourmilab are the ones you'll learn in academic astronomy classes in all of the civilized world, but in honor of full disclosure, our constellations are decidedly Greco-Roman, and other cultures have different names and visualize different objects when they look to the sky. Of course, the actual stars are in the same place--just differently grouped and named.
