Was Jesus really a capricorn?!

Question: He doesn't seem so very Capricorn in his ways?

Answers: He doesn't seem so very Capricorn in his ways?

If you ask me, he was more of a Piceses (spelling), Aries, or Taurus. I think he's real birthdate was more of a spring birth but we celebrate it on December 25, because centuries ago the Christians were trying to convert the pagans and stole their holidays and made it their own.

It's said that he wasn't born on December, but sometime in the spring.

And how exactly were his ways not "very capricorn"?

Astrologers have calculated that he was a Leo.

Depends if you can pin down when Jesus was really born....some say July (although it is doubtful that July existed then) some say October ...............

December was set as the date we celebrate his birth it is not necessarily his birth date...

The date that they use for Jesus, birth and resurrection aren't the definite months in which he was born and died and resurrected they are symbols of the act. For example December its winter in England and most of western Europe and Jesus' birth is like him being a light in the dark as the nights are longer and darker, which is why if I ever move to a country in which it is summer in December I.E Australia I'd celebrate Christmas in the country's winter. again his resurrection is in spring a time of new life being brought into the world, like baby sheep. So its not a definite date, he could be any star sign.

Well, he was born somewhere in the beginning of October when he came to earth, but since he was created as God's first son, I'm not sure...

I think you will find he was not a capricorn but he was a pisces.. very interesting reading .. I also gave you a link for the description of Pisces, in which you will find "HE" was indeeed like "HIS" sign

All the veidence points to him being born in July, as this coincides with the normal timetable for census counting, if the shepherds followed a star, that is likely to have been a conjuction of Jupriter and Venus, or Venus being close to Earth and therefore both bright and high in the sky at morning and/or evening, the closest that can be matched to this is in the records of the Chinese at the time, this gives a rough date for the birth of Jesus, and this of course is disputed, of June or July sometime between 4 and 7 BC.

Therefore the likeliest birth sign for Jesus would be Cancer or Leo.

Of course his traditional date of birth of 25th December 1 BC is the least likely, we know that this date was adopted by the catholic church, as they could not stop the people or Europe celebrating the longest night of the year, and the rebirth of the Sun, a twelve day event at which all of the remaining perishable food and drink that would last no longer was eaten and drank, this was referred to in pre-christian times as Saturnalia, and was also known as Yule.

That said, one should not forget that in Astrology, rising signs, moon signs, and other influences can have a very profane affect on how soeone born under a particular Sun sign behaves, so taking that into account, if Jesus was a Capricorn, his rising sign could make him very un-Capricorn like.

The reason for Christmas is supposed to be Jesus’ birthday. Many professed Christians believe his birthday was December 25. Is Christ honored by this date? Encyclopedias tell us that this date is not Christian but pagan, that it was the birthday of Mithras, a false messiah. They tell us, as does The Encyclopedia Americana, that “most of the customs now associated with Christmas were not originally Christmas customs but rather were pre-Christian and non-Christian customs taken up by the Christian church.” So not only is Christ not honored by this date, but it is wrong. When Christ died on the torture stake, after a ministry of three and a half years, he was thirty-three and a half years old. His death was at Passover time. That was about the first of April, A.D. 33.

So Christ, having died at the age of thirty-three and a half, would have been thirty-four years old six months later, or about October 1. So Jesus was born, not December 25, but about October 1, 2 B.C.

I belive no one really no what jesus horosope was no one can really tell as for me people like us didnt exist so how does anyone no its impossible for people to no that. He is the only one i belive no his zodiac sighn.

"Jesus was a Capricorn, he ate organic food; he believed in love and peace, and never wore no shoes; long hair, beard, and sandals, and a funky bunch of friends; reckon they'd just nail him up, if he came down again!

...cause everybody has to have someone to look down on; who they can feel better than at any time they please; someone doin' something dirty decent folks can frown on--if you can't find nobody else, then help yourself to me.

Eggheads cussing rednecks cussing hippies for their hair, while others laugh at straights who laugh at freaks who laugh at squares; some folks hate the whites, who hate the blacks who hate the klan: most of us hate anything that we dont understand!

...cause everybody has to have someone to look down on; who they can feel better than at any time they please; someone doin' something dirty decent folks can frown on--if you can't find nobody else, then help yourself to me."

...Like Cartman singing Styx, when I hear that Jesus/Capricorn thing, I just have to go there...

Back to the topic:

It's long been established that the birth of the individual who was likely the Jesus of ancient writings was not born in December. Too many errors in the the astronomy given in the texts written at the time.

Also, Catholicism *always* absorbed and reassigned important holy days of the pagans they slaughtered and invaded so that there would be more ready acceptance to the Catholic religion. It's no heathen myth that the icon of Mary has been implemented to replace the goddess of many spiritual beliefs Catholics stomped out of existence. It's the "if ya can't beat 'em, join 'em" method of absorption.

Christmas is merely the Catholics giving in to the importance of the Winter Solstice celebrations which were not merely raucous celebrations, although in bountiful years they certainly earned a raucous reputation. In practice, these solstice events were important to sustaining the community through a harsh winter.

I believe he was a leo being born sometime in July

I always thought he was a Capricorn too. i think it's amazing he's a Pisces like me if it's true.

I thought he was a Pisces?
He was so enlightened that he could have any sign.

historians have analyzed Jesse's real birth date and believe he was born somewhere in summer. the birth date we were told was definitely not accurate. so he can be either a cancer or a Leo, possibly a Virgo too. but definitely not a Capricorn. December 25th was originally a pagan celebration called Saturnalia which commemorated the birth of the sun god. before Jesus all of Europeans were pagan, so its not a surprise they chose this date. personally i think it makes more sense if was a Leo than a Pisces because Leo's bring light to darkened places. and Jesus brought light to his followers. he is the only profit who had suffered for his people rather than gain status or money. even though i am not a religious person, i don't care what his sign was i see him as a humanitarian person who deserves respect at least as a good human if not as a profit. he stood up for the defenseless at a time where savage humans feasted on good people.

jesus was born on april somtime (most likely 3rd 6th 2nd or 8th) so no he wasnt he was an aries

i think he was born around april time and so is either aries or taurus, we only celebrate his birth in december to fit in with new year
