Question: How can you believe that a "Capricorn" baby was born to a set of parents who "allegedly" did NOT have sex? You believe that he was "somehow" risen from death and "ascended" into "HEAVEN"? Okay, I can understand how a female's egg can be fertilized by male sperm and a baby conceived without them having sex. I can understand someone being mistaken for dead when they're actually not...(that actually happened to my grandmother). What I don't get is where is this "HEAVEN" that you're all so sure Jesus went to? Couldn't one of his 12 Apostles have had something to do with his removal?

Immaculate conceptions have been claimed by many religions.
As far as the Christian religion is concerned you are comparing one belief system which has been in recorded existence for 24,000 years, with one just over 2,000 years old.
You sound like an atheist discussing systems based on faith, so what is your point, as you appear to have faith in nothing except what you can see - yet you base your argument on something presented as scientific fact that you probably saw on tv, an egg being fertilised by a sperm. It was special effects.
Since all prophecies that are in The Bible are only confirmed in The Bible (and no where else) there is an obvious bias. It is doubtful that there was a virgin birth or a raising of the dead. One may consider it more important what Jesus said and taught instead of the myth.
Both of "the premise" and "immaculate conception" suffer the same problem. Lack of evidence. First show that it works, THEN make the theories on how it works.

Strange happenings aloof in them days. Authors aren't remembered but the bit players are. We re-enact the whole caboodle just to convince ourselves that something might have happened..but did it? I'm not so sure..if we take in all of the science we have and technology gosh we even get ourselves to believe that we originated here. All a load of tosh really..we came from another planet..and landed here over 65 million years ago and had to start from scratch. There were already folk on the planet at that time..it is us that made up the rest of the story..it is us that put everyone into perspective and create laws and governance of the planet called earth. We began fighting against mammals and beasts that we did know nor recognise and ate the ones that tasted good. We planted the seeds of what is now..yet all the while it is far from where we were and before out own planet exploded. We had the know how..we had the technology otherwise we would not be here. Life did begin among the stars and the rest is just history and twists and turns of events in showing might and weaknesses. The fact is that we are trying to find another planet to accomodate..just like we did back then..if and when we do it will all start over again. Probes are out there looking and searching as we speak. Confirmation of our curiosity and foresight.
