Are cancers shallow?!
Question: Now, why would you think that? I'd have to say cancer, being a water sign, is one of the most un-shallow of all the signs...along with pisces and scorpio. Water signs are not shallow people and do not ever EVER confuse their defense mechanisms for shallowness.
I cry inside often at the lack of understanding of other people and lack of nobleness and the two-facedness and insensitivity of some of the people around me. I'm also astounded sometimes about how lost Aries and Tauruses really are about the real feelings of other people! They really, just can't see it, I guess? I dunno, but it seems like they it's just not in their frame of vision.
Anyway, I don't think anyone is shallow, really, because everyone wants something that's long-lasting--even if we do fall for images sometimes. I think the only reason someone would be considered shallow is if they were doin stuff to flatter their ego. And about that..I'd have to say male capricorns, tauruses, and leo's can sometimes fall victim to that. But everyone does from time to time, though, I can tell you Cancers, Pisces, and Scorpios are THE most likely to behave in this way out of any of the signs. It may seem like they really are trying to flatter their ego's....but it's not really their ego's they're concerned about...its their sense of being taken advantage of after all the love and caring they put into a relaationship, for example. I think what they most fear is being rejected after truly caring so much. So, if you see a water sign being very defensive....remember, it's not about their ego, they're just trying to protect themselves from what they perceive as unjust and a potential threat to their sensitive feelings.
All I know is, Cancers are definitely not shallow. I really don't know what you're referring to. Lol.

True cancers are not shallow. They are protective of themselves, and it takes a lot to get them 'out of their shell'. They may do things that will protect themselves from showing their true colours or potential that may seem shallow, but being shallow is not the intention.
The Zodiac cannot determine how a person thinks and acts. It also cannot tell you what a personality is like, don't depend on it for facts.
I Really Can't Say all Cancer's are shallow, because any Sign can be Shallow, but I have met a shallow Cancer Male before.

Us cancers, myself being one, no we are most definately not shallow. We love energetic people, or anyone that cares about us. We mostly want to be loved and we fall in love verryy easily. Trust me, i do all the time, and sometimes its not the best thing of all. But no, we look at the inner beauty inside of people, not just outside, we look inside the person, see who they truly are, we are not shallow.
No not shallow in the sense that htye only care for themselves... They are too easily hurt adn emotional so they close up...
But to another person they seem shallow because it is hard to get to know them easily.

not at all. all of the cancers i know, male and female, are anything but shallow. in fact, some are so thoughtful of others to the point of them getting themselves caught up in more than they can handle.
i think human nature in general, especially in the US, causes people of any sign to have their shallow moments but in general, Cancers run deep!

The men tend to be adept at emotional manipulation, especially when it comes to getting FEMALES to feel sorry for them so they can get what they want. Mommy did them wrong is usually where they start....The female Cancer is usually the devoted, loving, yada yada. But the Cancer males are pros when it comes to emotional manipulation and conning people. I know of 2 signs that can lie with a totally straight, seemingly, innocent face. Cancer is the First.
