Cusps - do they exist or not?!

Question: I have heard that you are either one star sign or another, not a blend of both
AND
I have heard that the signs blend from one to the next;
what do you believe?

There is no such thing as a cusp. Read Linda Goodman's Love signs really good book and she clearly has an opinion about this topic. She says NO WAY. She says you are either one sign or the other, no such thing as cusps. She was an Aries by the way, so am i so take it from us haha cuz we are very straight forward, we will not confuse you. :)

Cusps DO exist. Other wise, why are there cusp concepts? You are an Aries but on the cusp huh? Read your other sign and figure it out. From an Aquarius\Pisces cusp person. Report It

  • My husband's birthday is on the cusp of 2 signs and he truly is a blend of both. So.....who knows for sure!

    Cusps exist as a part of the design of astrological science. If you are born on the cusp you may have an equal share of the attributes of either sign, but the real personality/lifestyle key is your birth date star chart, revealing what signs are ruling in what planets at the time of your birth.

    Yes cusps exists. Look, everyone has there opinion but cusps DO exist. You are still one sign but also have the characteristics of the other sign. LIke me, Aquarius\Pisces, still a Pisces yet my Pisces traits clash with the Aquarius traits. Simple and that easy. Ex: Most cusps starts on 19th of each month because that is when the Sun comes in (19, 1+9=10, 1+0=1, 1 being Leos number and the Suns number) and changes the star constellations thus creating, cusp concepts. The only two cusps that do not start on the 19th like that are the Capricorn\Aquarius (January 17-22) and the Aquarius\Pisces (February 16-22)cusps. If this is not helpful enough, I really, really dont know what is.

    Yes, the term 'cusps' are an astrological term and refer to approximately the first 5 and last 5 days of each Sun sign. These birthdates indicate that the the natives are co-ruled by 2 planets: the one ruling his sign and the other one ruling the preceding/following sign. This explains why an individual born on the cusp embraces characteristics of both Sun signs.

    A "cusp" (technically) is nothing more than the beginning of one sign as oppose to the last one. As we leave one sign and start the next, there could be and very evident that some of the characteristics "spill over into" the next sign or are left over from the last sign exited.

    Aries doesn't just automatically and completely turn off once it hits the next sign of Taurus. It's not like a clock with 11:59 pm and the next click becomes 12:00 am (which is a completely different and new day). Even though the signs are measured in degrees, they still "flow into" the next sign. This is why An early Aries could have some left over Pisces characteristics or a late Aries could have some of the Taurus characteristics but the Aries in the middle of the sign would possible be more single minded Aries...Capice?

    Cusps are the first degree of a house or sign. When the Sun leaves the 30th degree of Cancer and is in Leo 0 degree, 1 min., it is said to be on the cusp, of Leo, the same with respect to the other signs. If Aries 10 degrees is on the midheaven, as the cusp or dividing line between the ninth and tenth houses is called, and Neptune is in Aries 9 degrees 55 minutes, it is placed in the Ninth House on the cusp, of the tenth. If it is in Aries 10 degrees 5 minutes, it is placed in the tenth house on the cusp.

    As the influence of planets having direct motion is always forward in the Zodiac, a planet on the cusp of a house will always have a stronger influence on the affairs signified by that house than a planet which is placed in the latter degrees of a house.

    Cusps do indeed exist.In astrological terms, a "Cusp" is the imaginary "boundary line" between two Signs, or between two Houses. Note that Signs and Cusps are things we humans have invented to describe what we see in the heavens and provide convenient ways of making reference to the positions in the sky that the Sun and Moon and Planets appear in while traveling in Space. Signs are just areas in Space and Cusps are the points at which one Sign ends and the next Sign begins. They are not "real" in the sense that a Planet is "real", but are measuring devices man used by man to decribe points in Space, similar to the way man uses imaginary lines of latitude and longitude to refer to points on Earth.

    People born on a cusp have traits that merge, blend and collide. I believe that you can be one astrological sign with traits of another sign wholeheartedly.

    I hope this was helpful,Take Care!!! :)
