libra and aries are polar opposites, itll either work AMAZINGLY, or just fizzle as quick as it started. libra's indecisiveness will really get aries' GOAT (har har?...yea i know, ram), and aries can be too hyper for libra, since libra's can be a little lazy sometimes. aries is very impulsive, which will bother laid back libra and eventually, they just wont be able to co-exist together. libra can bring balance (no pun intended) into aries' fast paced world , while aries can maybe give libra some spunk and help them to get more done.
HOWEVER, libra and aquarius are one of the most compatible signs of the zodiac, both being air, shows incredibly agreeableness and each finding their "other half", both can be a little lazy sometimes, but that can even add to the passion in one another. libra loves a good intellectual chat, sometimes even more than physical passion (not always) and aquarius can give them that. many sources say that aquarius and libra are the perfect best friend signs, and thats okay, since thats what they both want in a lover. the passion may not be intense, but many a time, they are usually very happy together and just enjoy each other's company.

Based on general Sun sign compatibility, I'd much rather go for the Libra-Aquarius match than the Libra-Aries pairing. Simple reason being that both Libra and Aquarius belong to the communicative, outgoing, sociable Air element and thus will have no problems in understanding each other's innate personality. Both love to be mentally stimualted by good intellectual debates and are naturally attracted to each other.
Aries may not be a wise choice for you, particularly if the Aries is a woman. Aries is a fiery masculine sign that is agressive and loves to initiate. She may be too impatient for a peace-loving, diplomatic Libra male. They may be too egotistical and self-centred for a permanent pairing as well. For this pair of polar opposites to work out, there needs to be lots and lots of compromise and understanding from both parties.
So true about Aquarius/Libra match......... I'm a Libra and I know for sure that I am most stimulated by Aquarius.
After reading most other opinions I find it amusing. Libra and Aries are totally opposite of one another in astrology while Aquarus and Libra are pretty much alike. I know me being Libra we are attracted to Aries but I have 2 children both my Aries fathers and never again. They expect things their own way and work too much. When dating if someone is an Aries then I stay the heck away.....
