Smug Taurus male. How do I deal with it?!
Question: I hear Taurean men can be smug. I know one who is, and it bothers me. My first instinct is to call him out whenever he acts selfish or gets too comfortable with himself (where it starts affecting his attitude), but I don't know if that's the best way to go. How should I peacefully let him know that I don't like this attitude?

Oh my I have known two.
The one I new no one could tell him anything! This one is my oldest boys dad, known him over 20 years. Fact of it was when I nicely told him to buzz off he followed me around and called over twenty times in one day!
Several friends had to run him off at different times. He was scaring me big time!
I do not know if this is all Taurus men but dang.....talk about stubborn and un willing to listen.
I am sure this is not all Taurus men, it just can not be.
The other Taurus guy I new was not as bad, but did not know what "no" meant either. Only new him for 4-5 years.
If he is like the ones I know, put your foot down and just tell him. If he dose not listen go on with life.

I've known (loved) one. And guess what? It was his smugness that drew me to him...Heh.
But I'm an Aries, so what the hell.
We Aries and Taurus can jam together, but if you belong to another starsign and element...you might have some problems.
Me and him are fire, so we can go well together. We can't singe each other.

First thing to learn about Taurus males is they are stubborn. In order to convince them they are wrong, you have to prove it to them beyond a reasonable shadow of a doubt. And, you have to present the evidence to them in a way that doesn't act like a red cloak, which will only make them mad.
The second thing to note is that Taurus holds beauty above all other qualities. Venus rules this one. Distract him with beauty, be it an offer of a night to remember; or a well presented meal that not only tastes good, but is a work of art; or a magnificent sunset; or a particularly excellent classic car... Find out what he considers to be beautiful and surround him with it.
Once you can get his attention in a positive way, then you can discuss your concerns about his 'attitude'; so long as you present it as a way to increase the beauty of your relationship.

I have totally worn out three copies of this book to date, and the fourth is well worn.
To set up a natal chart you can use nearly any free astrology program. The calculations are fairly straight forward, and it is well represented in software.
