Well I am also a libra and here are some things I know about our personality.
We hate confrontation and will avoid it all costs. Often when we are around two other people who are fighting, we will get in the middle of it and make peace. When it is US who is in an argument, we will sometimes lie, or "give in" to the other person's side just to avoid further conflict. This does NOT mean however that we do not like a healthy debate...we do. Especially when someone is only seeing one side of things. This is when our debate skills come in handy because we want them to see ALL sides of things.
Another aspect of a libra is that we love ALL things beautiful. We love a beautiful home and will even go so far as to straighten out every crooked picture on the walls and neatly line all knick knacks on a shelf just so that everything is "beautifully" balanced. We also love a lot of romance in our relationships and are wonderful at "wooing" the opposite sex into seduction.
A lot of times people think that libras contradict themselves because we can love a good debate one minute and the next avoid one at all costs. We can be overly romantic and then the next minute only want surface level flirting. It is all about finding that unique balance which is ultimatly what the libra strives for. When we are not dipping back and forth, and the scales finally balance we are the most poised, peaceful, charasmatic people on the planet!
