Oh, Geminis can have quite the little tempers! Geminis are the Twins, and so in every Gemini, there's a Happy Twin and an Angry Twin. The Happy Twin is the talkative, friendly, witty Gemini we know and love. They keep us entertained, laughing, and thinking. But all of the sudden, something pisses off the Gemini, and he (or she) turns into a combination Aries/Leo. That's that Angry Twin huffing and puffing away. Eventually, Gemini will cool down and go back to being the happy intellectual again! But yeah, in every Gemini I know, they can have short tempers that flare up easily. Just gotta give them some time, and they'll come back to being happy and nice again. Yes, you are describing a very Gemini trait.
My gemini friend gets angry at some of the most unreasonable things...i HATE it and all she does is pout and not talk to me...and does not answer me when i ask if she's mad at me ughh what am i gonna do with her?? lol oh well she's still my friend we have our ups and downs...
my ex was gemini, and let me tell you, temper would not be the word for it. she would get nuts for no reason, then a little later be the nicest person to be around. totally fit her sign. i reaaaaaly believe its a gemini thing
Remember the late Bob Hope used to say, "I am 2 of he nicest people you could ever want to meet" He too was a Gemini. Gemini is the sign if the twins. Some are both good or bad. My grandson is a Gemini and he has 2 personality traites, one good and the other not so good.
Of course...because everybody born within the same alignment of the stars lasting about a month has the EXACT same personality...and it totally has an effect on your life and is totally ligitimate...(I'm a taurus so I wouldn't know)
No, not at all. Acting out "bad tempers" and "temper tantrums" is NOT a characteristic of Gemini's. On the contrary, it is simply a characteristic of immaturity, self-centeredness, selfishness, foolishness and lack of emotional and intellectual self-control. It is not zen-like, and not remotely magical, nor spiritually evolved to demonstrate pride at being considered a "crazy" sign. People who are bipolar: now THAT's something to get crazy about. But Gemini's are NOT crazy like that.

i am a gemini i get angry easy. Also certain noise bothers me to the point of geetting pissed off. Like running water while i am laying down. I also have the worst time making decsions. I always see two sides.
I've known and do know many Geminis in my life. They all have and had bad tempers, but only when pushed much too far. On a normal basis, they do not get mad easily. You have to really push!!!! I don't find them crazy at all, but very communicative, fun, protective, romantic and open-minded.
I have a gemini ascendant, aka rising sign.
Although normally cool and collected, I DO get mad and occasionally out of tune , but would cool off rather immediately.
So are a lot of geminis I know, because they are usually RIGHT most of the time. They hate to be misunderstood, under-estimated, and/or ignored. They also hate to follow the crowd and would like to do their own thing but if forced to do that they will definitely DO it not just begrudgingly, but everyone at the ear's shot will know they are on a roll lol
I'd have to say I disagree.
I've only known a couple of Geminis with actual anger management issues/bad tempers, and those I attributed to Mars and rising signs.
Most that I have met (and I tend to meet quite a few of them, Gem's on my 11th house cusp, and my south node's there too) have been really friendly and happy people, sometimes more so than me, and I'm Sag sun, so pretty friendly myself.
Of course, the Sag sun could also be the reason I find that to be true. I'm pretty much pre-disposed to getting along with Gemini.
Still, I don't feel that bad tempers are indicative of this sign. I'd look to the ascendant and mars, and also the moon sign of the person. A fire or water moon could make a person more moody and thereforemore likely to have a temper as well. Cardinal and fixed signs in these elements only, though. A mutable sign moon would make one more easy going emotionally, I think, and so therefore less likely to have a temper.
EDIT: Hey, lovelife... just curious, you wouldn't happen to have a moon-mercury square in your chart, would you?
Geminis do have quick tempers. Yeah.. I said quick, meaning they get pissed off easily but they get okay easily too. They change their minds constantly and expect you to keep up. They also get distracted when things don't revolve around something they are interested in. Like my sis, when she gets mad, I do my self a favor and expect to have the phone hung up on me if she's really mad. I'll give her some breathing room and time to think, she'll come back to me with an apology if she's wrong, before the day is over.
I never worry, Gemini forgives and forgets faster than any other signs.
