This is happening today and Mercury is retrograde!?!
Question: I have been looking for a place to rent since summer since my landlord wont fix the holes in the roof! Ive looked at many houses, applied for all but was never chosen, which is ok. I looked at one the other day, filled out the app. and he called me and said i could come back over to fill out the lease and get the keys today 10/14 at 1 pm. But Mercury is retrograde and if anyone knows about this, it could be a bad deal for me. Has anyone bought electronics for signed a contract to find out weeks later it was a bad deal, and knows the astrology rules?

This is a bit of a tough one. What house is mercury transiting in your chart right now, and is is making any aspects to any natal planets? Also, is your natal mercury retrograde or direct? If it's not transiting 4th house or aspecting 4th house planets, I don't know that I'd neccessarily be all that worried about it. Also, if your natal mercury is retro as well, transiting mercury retrograde can actually make things run smoother for you.
I would like to say though, that I'm not a professional and this is a fairly major decision, so I wouldn't base your decision solely on this. Best advice I can give is to go with your initial gut reaction when you heard that you could have the place if you wanted it. Were you excited and happy, or did you get that sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach? Your answer's probably right there for you.
