i do this all the time! its called manipulation for control for your agenda to get what you want... so it starts with a "desire" which is scorpios word (you'll find that anywhere).

oh, man...if I had a dime for everytime my scorpio guy did that to me...well, I'd be very very rich. My guy will do something stupid and then when I confront him about it, after yelling at him, he asks me why am I mad or why am I trying to hurt him. I'm always dumbfounded. He does something wrong and I'm to blame?? I know, I know, it makes no sense. :) I find that typically Scorpios don't like to be called out on the wrong that they do. When you call them out, they'll use mind games to try and turn the tables on you! Who the hell knows WHY they do it. Honestly, I don't even think THEY know why they act that way. Scorpios are strange people and they've got so much going on inside of them that they do odd things. But I DO know they have to be in control of the relationship (at all times) or else they lose it. Let me tell you a little bit about Scorpio that I think will shed some light on your problem:

When thwarted, you don't just accept defeat. You're extremely agile when it comes to sidestepping obstsacles and figuring out a dozen new ways to get to your goal. In a wonderful paradox, flexibility is one of your most effective methods of controlling situations. Basically, you always have a hidden agenda. Even when you seem at ease and relaxed, you are always evaluating, figuring out your moves, working out strategy. Much of this has to do with control, which is what you're all about. For Scorpio to be out of control is to be in psychic danger. Nothing is worse for you than to feel swept away by outside forces. When you are in control, you are safe.

Everyone should be very aware of this much at least, when they enter a relationship with a Scorpio.

uh..im a scorpio, and i had personal experiences with someone born on my exact date. men and women are different. he acted alot like ur friend. u see, i cant say everyone, but i know how to control my emotions...that's just how it is. it would be nice for everything to go like the way i want it like anyone else on the planet. but sometimes it feels like my emotions want to control and success and perfection means so much... its sometimes hard, but he has to learn how to let go and live life. he doesnt want to accept responsibility for a failed decision...trust me, i would rather hide under a rock, but i had to learn how to grow up and accept responsibility. u have to learn how to confront him in a different way... hard to explain. ease it on him, i guess. its hard to say, but thats how it is. hopefully, he'll learn too. its just harder for guys. they dont like emotion to rule and dont know how to contain it.

Us Scorpio's want to be in control and we never want to lose. If we sense that we about to lose a battle we will do anything in our power to insure that we come out on top. He may not be doing what he's doing on purpose, it's just the way he is....and I'm sure that he doesn't mean to hurt you.

After all, Scorpio's are very caring and loving :) He doesn't want to hurt you, he just wants to protect his ego.
