It probably depends on whose saying it. It could mean your in the same religion and have the same beliefs, it could be the soul mate thing (which I have to say, I have some problem with - I mean, does everyone find their soul mate? do we always incarnate at the same time? If so, what about all the divorces, wife beating, etc?) It could mean you both have the same basic spiritual make up and see the world in the same way. Look at the context of where you saw the reference.

And relax. If I used the term, I would mean that both of you are at the same place in your development, both of you are looking for the same place in life and have the same general outlook. the same ego need and maturity level. Karmicly speaking, your the same age. This isn't always the best possible combination. I wouldn't be happy about 2 - 4 years olds living in a house together alone, unsupervised. And two young souls together would be the equivelent. This is where co-dependancies coem from.

I agree with Cindy to a point.. I do agree with the last half that both of you understand each other as she said, but I don't think it means both of you are at the same growth plain... To me it means you are both at a point, you can understand why the other does what they do for in my opinion.
