I saw you became a fan of mine and I happen to see your question without any answers so I will try to help you based on the info you gave.

First of all, taurus shares the number one spot next to capricorn as thee best compatible sign to be with. Often these high ranking match-up last a long long time...25 50 75 yrs etc. With that being said it is probably in your best interest and to his for that matter that you somehow hook up together.

You would think that a taurus and a virgo would naturally find each other but astrology goes a little deeper than that and fools everyone at least initially. okay every sun sign has a rising sign it could be any of the 12 signs of the zodiac. It depends on the Time and place of birth to decipher. Anyway a rising sign is your defense mechanism to the world, your mask if want to call it, It protects who you really are. So if you have say a aquarius rising which is disharmonious to a taurus sun it would give you a sort of detatched aloof unfeeling appearance although as a virgo you are much much less so. So this rising sign mixes up your virgo signals and the taurus doesn't quite know where he stands with you. But the more he gets to know you and the more you drop your " Aquarius mask" and the sooner you two wil be happier. chances are you have an aquatruis mask or at least an air sign or fire sign rising in your chart which would give him confusing signals.

Now it is interesting he is a dating a gemini and a libra before her.
