Answers: I have a boyfriend, that is the zodiac for Cancer. for the most part he is attentive, warm, affectionate, then all of a sudden, he will just not call, not come over, and just disappear ! this usaully last for 2 days. so is he doing this for attention, full well knowing it is driving me crazy ? I sometimes feel he does this on purpose, because he wants to see how much I miss him, I dont know ? what gives ??

That"s how we are. Although we are affectionate, loving and compassionate we do get moods. We like our own space and sometimes i don"t want any contact with anybody, including my girlfriend and family/friends.

By all means make sure he is ok after a couple of days because then he may not think you are concerned. Nothing will get us out of our shells though if we don"t want contact. People who know me well know that it"s best to leave me until i contact them again or i just get abrupt with them.

Today crabby but tomorrow back to warm and affectionate, and laughing and joking.

He may just be crabby. . . or like you say, looking for attention. Either way you need to talk about it with him. That's the only way you're going to really kno what's going on. If he continues the behavior then he's not worth it right now.

Yeah...I date a Cancer man as well, so I understand what you mean. But, I am also a Scorpio woman with an Aquarius ascendant, so I need a lot of space in order to make a relationship work. Clingy men=kiss of death.

What happens with mine, is he is too afraid that if he spends too much time with me, it won't be a treat for him anymore. It keeps the passion alive when we see each other because we BOTH miss each other. Also, he is afraid that if I see him all the time that I will get sick of him, especially of his non-manly water sign mood swings.

Just ask him about it. Chances are he will either say what is above, or he will be very upset that he caused you pain. Men who are born under feminine signs often have a hard time in controlling their feelings, alternating between attentive gushing and absolute stoicism. They do make wonderfully intuitive lovers when they decide it is ok to be outside of their shells.

I've dated 2 cancer males and am now with one for 6 years.
I don't think the crabs I met ever did this to me. They are all very clingy and needy. They want to see me all the time. So I guess in your case, there are several possibilities:
~He still feels insecure or not sure about this relationship is heading. You need to assure him that you love him. Cancers need to be told "I love you" all the time and every time. Show him more affection. As a Sag myself, I'm very aggressive. I mean If he doesn't call, I'll call him and ask him what happens and if there's anything wrong. I always take initiative cuz I can't wait to know why and I simply don't like playing any games.

~Maybe, w/o conscious, you've hurt him. did you say or do anything before he sulked into his shell? maybe you did but you didn't even know it cuz cancer gets hurt easily. you''ll never know what you've done wrong yet they feel hurt. I know this sounds crazy but so true! It could be just a word you said that hurt them forever and they will never forget.

What I can suggest is that call him and talk to him. Don't wait fro him to do it cuz it's gonna take forever.

hi hun, i'm a scorpio and my bf is canser.. i went through this a while ago. and as much as i wanted him to have the space but it would bother me at same time. so i had to bring it up and talk to him about it...and this is when he told me he needs some time to think things over and then after few days he came back to me and said all the right things. as in sometimes he needs some time alone to think things over and has nothin to do with me..and when i told him i be there for him anytime and i want him to call me when there's something wrong and lab lab lab he felt more comf and told me i be hearing from him everyday now.. and since then everything is perfect!! talk to him tell him.. u dont feel comf like this iknowgirl...... doesnt make u feel that u dont have a bf sometimes?? cuz this is how i felt!!! talk to him but be there for him at same time......
