Pluto in Scorpio birth chart problem...?
I've recently tried getting a free birth chart done online, at the following website: http://www.0800-horoscope.com/birthchart... and suggested it to many of my friends for fun. The problem is, after a while I noticed everybody gets their Pluto in Scorpio, which is a bit unrealistic since the birth dates, times and locations of the people involved varied greatly. I would be grateful if anybody here could check it out and see if they get the same result, preferably someone who knows for sure that their Pluto is not in Scorpio. I've also seen birth chart interpretations from this website quoted many times here on Y!A so I think it may be of interest to know whether or not it gives accurate information. I think there may be a bug in the automatic calculation.
Also, please recommend any websites with free birth chart interpretation which you consider to be more reliable. Thanks!
Answers: Pluto takes 248 years to orbit the sun. Thus, it's in each sign for a REALLY long time... so that makes sense. Likewise, most astrologers tend to ignore it on a person's birthchart, since it's more an indicator of an entire era than individuals.
EDIT: btw, Pluto was in Scorpio from late 1983 through sometime around 1996 or 1997. So, if the range of birthdates of your friends is within that, then that might explain it. Likewise, I just tested it with a random birthdate from the early 60s, and it says Pluto is in Virgo, which sounds accurate. So yeah... the chart is right. Pluto's just in each sign for a really long time. Yes www.terot.com i have the same pluto is scorpio too and every one of my friend has. u r right maybe there is a mistake. sorry i dont know any websites then that one it depend on the year too. time changes
people who have Pluto in Scorpio are mostly people who were on from 1985 to i believe 1986 and then Pluto goes around to other signs and goes back to Scorpio so on and so on. i know people on in 1985 and 1986 all have Pluto in Scorpio and 1980 to 1984 people i know have Libra in Pluto so it's timing and the year make big different.
maybe Pluto in Scorpio make people think that kids today are all about sex. Pluto in Scorpio is illusive and vague. That's why you get so much confusion with it from other people "reading" it (lol) They don't know what to make of it. They don't know how to "interpret" it. "Interpretation" -- you're looking (exploring?) energies ranging from a dynamic sexual power to an intellectual aesthetic. The planet Pluto is more symbolic than anything else. You won't find this on any website.
Scorpio has many dynamics: sex, power, dominance, emotion, creativity etc. etc. If you are interested in the subtleties and distinctions of your astrological imprint, well, then............you better email me.
