Question:
Am I really a gemini?
I was born at 7:30am, 22nd May. I have been told variously that I am definitely a gemini; that I am half gemini and half taurus because I am a cusp person and even that there is thirteenth sign, which nobody ever refers to, around this date.
Anybody got a definitive answer?

It's from May 21- June 20 of course ur a gemini since ur born in may 22nd. if you were born in the morning of may 22nd and and a gemini starts on may 21, then you're definitely a gemini. Sorry!! Haven't got an answer but am intereted to find out about the extra sign because my birthday is 23rd May, so would like to know if I qualify for this new sign.
Thanks! yes your a gemini I am a gemini so if you are like me - witty, adaptable, communicative, intellectual, flitting from one project to another etc then I think you are a gemini. I don't know anything about the thirteenth sign though. I also was born May 22nd at 7:00am so if I am a Gemini so are you.. at least you were born

There is no such thing as a cusp, signs do not merge into one or another, they are more like rooms, the sun goes through the door into the next sign.
The problem you have is that the actual time the sun 'moves from one sign to another is not set, this being due to a number of factors, so just by looking at a newspaper or magazine with fixed dates you may not be right.
This type of astrology is little more than a bit of fun anyway.
All astrological influences are built up using the poistions of the 'planets' at the time of birth.
Jonathan Cainer on his site has a number of calculators that can work these out, including one that can work out birth signs for those people who seem to 'overlap' signs.
Being someone born on 22nd of May myself I have often been accused of being a Taurus, but I was born at 7.30 in the evening in London, England so I am most definately Gemini.

Yes u r a real gemini You're definitely a gemini. There are no cusps in astrology when you're talking about the sun-sign. You should go to http://www.astro.com to find out your whole birth chart. If you don't really feel like a gem though, you probably have planets in taurus and/or cancer which can make u feel differently.
