Need other Scorpio's help?
Do anyother Scorpio's fear commitment, everytime I get close to a woman (emotionally) I find myself pulling away, I have lost one good woman before, and think I am going to loose another real soon. I pour it on early and when I win thier heart I run away, I'm not out to play games I just fear commitment. Am I better off just seeing women for one nighters? How have you gotten over comitment issues? Thanks in advance.............Iroc
Answers: Hey you sound a lot loike myself. I am a scorpio female and I have the same issues. It's like you fall fast in love and you put a lot into it, but once you have them falling for you, it gets too committed and you run.
I've been engaged 2 times and I am only 20. Every relationship I have is intense and very deeply emotional as is characteristic of our sign. It seems however that once it gets to the point of marriage and settling down, I always bail, or in most cases, make him bail on me, by screwing up.
Now, I am engaged yet again, and it is almost like clockwork, that I am getting ancy and thinking about another guy. It's not that I don't love my fiance, just that not having the freedom to do what I want, when I want scares me.
Luckily in my case, the guy I have been talking to is making me think things through, rather than just jumping out of a relationship like that. After taking some time to think about it, I have realized that I do want to commit, but I just have to resist the urges to run. I am still working on it, and believe me it isn't easy, but it can be done. I think it gets easier when you find the person who makes you want to commit, not who you think you should.
I hope this could help a bit, but my best advice is to think it through and I mean for a while, not just a few minutes. My decision has been about a month in the making and I'm still working the kinks out. I think I might have dated you LOL! I am not a scorpio but I dated and lived with a scoripo for 2.5 years. In the beginning it seem like he was so in love with me it scared me. And told him he was looking to settle down and start a family. Same thing I wanted. He used to introduce me to his friends as his wife and even his family used to acknowledge me as his wife, eventhough we werent married. Towards the end of the relationship before I broke up with him he would say I am never getting married, I dont want to be tied down. That seriously confused me! So I was pretty mad I felt lke I wasted my time with him. I felt like I could have been dating someone more serious than that I mean come on we were almost dating for 3 years, it was the make it or break it point!
I think you should just stick to the one nighters or just dont led someone else on, dont be selfish! Tell the person up front what you expect! Let them decide if what you are offering is what they want! I am a Scorpio woman, and I really don't have any of these issues. It takes me a little while to fall for someone, and I try to stay with them. I am not scared of commitment. If it is a Scorpio thing, then maybe that aspect of it doesn't affect me. Iroc do not be afraid to make a commitment with a woman. Before you lose this woman make a commitment to her and stick with it. The women like you for who you are and nothing else. I'm not a Scorpio, but I've been with one for over a year. In the beginning, I sensed that he was afraid of commitment, partially due to a past relationship that wounded him badly. Therefore, I learned to give him the space and control that he needed. I never wanted him to feel pressured to be with me. I always told him that he was free to go if it wasn't what he wanted. At the same time, I made damn sure that he knew how I felt about him, my feelings for him and how much I cared. Yet, I stayed independent and steered from being clingy. Allowing him to come to me on his own was the best thing. He was able to let himself commit to me by his doing and desire. I must say that if this woman truly cares about you and is loyal to you, don't let her get away. People like this only come into your life once in a very long while. If you keep running away, you will never discover true happiness that real love can bring...............If you find a woman that has the patience, understanding and tolerance to give you the time that you require, it might work out in the end. I am a commitment phobe. Incidentally, half my chart is in Sagittarius and Sagittarius is known to be one of the two commitment-phobes in the Zodiac (the other is Aquarius).
