If I show a lot of attention to this guy who is a LEO, would that make me seem to clingy and scare him away?

Leos love to be pursued and they aren't afraid of clingy-ness as long as your not showing signs of jealousy and being super possessive then your good to go

Also its not so much as you contacting him, its his response to you, that will tell you that its okay to do these things.

If you text and he doesn't text back or call back don't get offended, he's telling you he needs some emotional space and he will come back and pursue you to let you know he's ready for more loving.

My leo loves affection and attention, so I think its a go for you to do these things BUT if he's not texting or calling back then back off a bit.
