Gemini Man/Virgo Woman?

Just ended 1.5 yr. relationship w/ Gemini man (I'm Virgo). The relationship was rocky. We argued a lot but always seemed to work things out. I broke up w/ him txt msg. The reason I text him was because I called him 15 minutes before and told him I was feeling like sh!$, might need to go to the doctor, & couldn't drive myself. He blew me off and told me he was talking to his mother. I said okay, hung up and then sent him the text said: "I'm sure your mom would understand if you told her I was sick." Any ways, I guess I'm wondering if he'll get in touch with me. It's been a week now and I haven't heard from him. Usually after we break up, he calls (or emails)…I'm shocked he hasn't yet. 
BTW...during our off again/on again relationship, he made a point of saying how when he's really done w/ someone, he's really done with them. I've heard that Geminis can shut down like that and act like you never existed...is this true? Anyone date a gemini and can testify???

Wow, I think I just answered another question for you. My hubby is Gemini and I'm Virgo. To me these relationships can be interesting because Gemini's can be spontaneous and Virgo's are perfectionist. My Gemini goes from loving me like no other then ignoring me, its gone on for 6 years exactly like that. Its hard to get used to!
