Can you tell me anything about pefkori we are going on holiday on june the 7th?

We went to Pefkohori in May/June last year. The resort is fairly quiet but the beach is busy as it is narrow. If you walk down to the beach though then turn right and follow the path past the beach bars and a small car park it is quieter and much more enjoyable.

There are loads of nice restaurants and the mixed grill dish is fantastic. There is one restaurant on the front that does fantastic fish dishes and one on the main street that did the mixed grill for about 20euros per couple.

I would recommend hiring a car or scooter for a couple of days as opposed to going on the trips. We hired a scooter and went onto the middle peninsula near to Turtle Island and this is much quieter and a lot prettier. Unfortunately there was a fire near Hanioti last year which burnt a lot of the woodland near Hanioti and Pefkohori. On the other side of Kassandra there are some extremely quiet beaches which are worth a visit, sand underfoot and not a soul to be seen all day!!

I could go on and on and on!!! I recommend you buy a map of the area and discover some of your own gems too, the place is littered with them. To finish, the dogs in Pefkohori are really cute and love scraps!! Also, the sunsets are beautiful too, really romantic.
