Ring finger longest finger not middle finger?

I was researching some Palmistry about my own hands. I have very very short fingers and my ring finger is my longest finger not my middle as is everyone's elses. Do you know where I can find information on this? Or do you know what this means?

the palm, and the fingers, are said to be ruled by the various planets, starting from the wrist and going outwards so the further the distance from the wrist the further the planet ruling that area. Thus moon and venus rule the bottom part of the palm, mars the center, and the remaining four planets as follows: pinky=mercury, ring finger=sun, first finger=jupiter and middle finger=saturn. Usually the saturn finger is the longest, in your case it's the sun. It's a bit unusual but not necessarily a bad thing; indicates a tendency to be ruled more by the heart than by practical considerations.
