Zodiac Compatibility-- HELP?

ok, so im not a real believer in the "everyday zodiac astrology" BUT, im a libra, and when reading the descriptions of them (from several sources) they have all described me perfectly. so are they true? what about zodiac compatibility? it says that libras should not be with scorpios, but the person im interested in, is a scorpio... should i turn away? PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS!! are you in a relationship that the zodiacs says is "incompatable"? thank you in advance
