What do the planets and "N. Node" reflect with regard to one's astrol!

What do the planets and "N. Node" reflect with regard to one's astrological chart?

in other words, when you receieve the results of your astrological chart and you find personality description for "mercury" "venus" ... "N.Node" etc... what does this mean?

it has to be taken as a whole; a gemini mercury conjunct venus and opposed by neptune is different from a gemini mercury conjunct mars and opposed by neptune, for example. That's what makes real astrological interpretation so devilishly hard, there aren't any simple answers.
That said, the nodes of the moon are the points at which the moon's orbit crosses the equator when the moon is going north or south. I think of the nodes as poles of a battery--you'll have strong areas in your chart, with corresponding and opposite weaknesses. Thus an ambitious politician pretty much has to neglect his family, it comes with the territory. A person with a strong ego is less likely to have a good marriage, someone who gives away all their worldly goods for their religion is unlikely to be a good businessman, etc. Some claim "karmic connections" and such, this is fine if you go for that but I like things simple and straightforward.
