Know a male pisces thats stuck in rut, very dependant on me. Has no one else. How should I try to talk to him about trying to be more independent? I want to be bluntly honest but I feel it will come out negative and hurt him.

Perhaps he has some childhood traumas or something affected him to be that way,
If that really bug you that he is dependent on you, instead of bringing out as criticism, let him know that you would like him to try be independent of you, but sometimes when you release a man, you may face the side effect, he will become comfortable independent then you will demand his attention.
So decide what you want, a independent man and off of you or have one 24/7 on you.
